NOHEIC launches its new “Question & Answer”

National observatory on health and environmental impacts of contaminants (NOHEIC) is launching a new initiative aimed at fostering dialogue between the public and the scientific community.

How does this initiative work?

NOHEIC collects questions submitted by the public regarding contaminant emissions from smelters and their impacts on health and the environment. Each question is then forwarded to an expert whose field of research provides relevant scientific insight. The “Question-Answer” pairs are subsequently published on the NOHEIC website to make the answers accessible to the general public.

Can I submit a question?

Absolutely! Anyone can submit a question. Simply visit the “Question & Answer” page on the NOHEIC website and follow the steps provided. A guide offers some tips to help you formulate a scientific question. You can then use an online form to submit your question to the NOHEIC team.
