Joint Congress 2025 AIRS
Joint Congress 2025 AIRS - CARES - Précrisa
The Réseau de recherche en santé durable lié à la qualité de l’air et de l’environnement sonore (AIRS) (Air Quality and Noise Environment Sustainable Health Research Network) is organizing its annual 2025 conference in conjunction with the Réseau Communautés rurales et éloignées en santé (CARES), the Réseau de prévention des crises en santé (Précrisa) and the Centre intersectoriel de santé durable de l'Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC).
Transport et santé durable: une traversée intersectorielle! (Transport and sustainable health: a cross-sectoral journey!)
The quality of the natural, industrial, urban and rural environment plays an essential role in the concept of sustainable health. Transportation, in the broadest sense, is a determining factor in this environmental quality. With this in mind, the theme of this year's conference is transport, considered in its entire continuum: from fundamental research (intracellular transport, ionic transport, bioaerosols, cell migration, etc.) to passenger and freight transport, via urban planning and legislation on noise and air pollution linked to transport activities. We'll also be exploring how to valorize our research from an environmental and sustainable health perspective in the community.
The event will be held from September 22 to 24 at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Registration is free.
