Copper recycling, an engine of innovation for the future: this guided tour presents the processes by which copper, a metal essential to the energy transition and to everyday life, is recovered and processed here in Rouyn-Noranda for reintegration into the production chain. Each year, thousands of tonnes of copper and precious metals are recovered and repurposed to extend their lifecycle. A unique opportunity to understand how local actions contribute to building a more sustainable future in direct relation to the major challenges of our time.
