Joint Congress 2025 AIRS - CARES - Précrisa

This year's annual conference of the Réseau de recherche en santé durable lié à la qualité de l'air et de l'environnement sonore (AIRS) will be held in collaboration with the Réseau Communautés rurales et éloignées en santé (CARES), the Réseau de prévention des crises en santé (Précrisa) and the Centre intersectoriel de santé durable of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC).

The quality of the natural, industrial, urban and rural environment plays an essential role in the concept of sustainable health. Transportation, in the broadest sense, is a determining factor in this environmental quality. With this in mind, the theme of this year's conference is transport, considered in its entire continuum: from fundamental research (intracellular transport, ionic transport, bioaerosols, cell migration, etc.) to passenger and freight transport, via urban planning and legislation on noise and air pollution linked to transport activities. We will also explore how to valorize our research in an environmental perspective of sustainable health in the community.

Oral presentations sought

We are looking for abstracts from all categories of members of the 3 networks for oral presentations in the thematic sessions of the congress and for poster presentations. There will be a competition for the best student presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is September 2, 2025.
