Pierre Vincelette

Retired physician specializing in pediatrics and neonatology who practiced for over 40 years in Rouyn-Noranda, Pierre Vincelette has always been committed to ensuring access to quality healthcare for newborns, children, and adolescents in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Aware of the industrial environmental issues specific to Rouyn-Noranda, he chose to take action by leveraging his expertise through extensive review of scientific literature and involvement with the committee Arrêt des Rejets et Émissions Toxiques de Rouyn-Noranda (ARET). He believes that scientific studies can assist the concerned public and relevant authorities by guiding them in their future individual and collective actions to address the situation.
