Maximilien Debia is also Vice-Dean for Student Life and Faculty Affairs, as well as Faculty Secretary. His areas of expertise include assessment of occupational exposure to physical, chemical and biological contaminants, substitution of toxic substances, exposure to nanoparticles and ultrafine particles, mathematical modeling of contaminant concentrations in the workplace, and biological monitoring. His current research focuses on the development of training tools for producers and occupational health professionals, the in situ assessment of worker exposure to ultrafine particle aerosols from 3D printing processes, and an innovative approach to the characterization and counting of asbestos fibers in the assessment of occupational exposure in the context of the mobilization of asbestos-contaminated mine tailings.
