Jean-François Boulanger

Jean-François Boulanger is also co-holder of the Research Chair on asbestos residue reclamation, supported by the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF). Previously, he held the position of professor of extractive metallurgy of critical and strategic elements at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT). His areas of expertise include hydrometallurgy, separation of critical and strategic elements, and economic analysis of mineralurgical processes. His current research focuses on the valorization of asbestos tailings and the development of sustainable processes for the extraction and separation of critical minerals.
